I’m Malachi — a commercial filmmaker, director, and photographer based in Eureka, CA. I founded MLStudios to bring real production quality to Humboldt County businesses and couples who deserve more than generic content.

My background is in commercial production and filmmaking. That means when I show up to your project — whether it’s a brand video for your business, a wedding film in the redwoods, or a product shoot for your e-commerce store — I’m not just pointing a camera. I’m thinking about story, light, pacing, and what’s actually going to move your audience.

I’ve worked with local businesses across Humboldt County — from Eureka and Arcata to Fortuna, Ferndale, and Trinidad — as well as clients up and down the Northern California coast. Every project gets the same level of care, regardless of scope or budget.
